This unique torque sensor is designed to measure reaction forces exerted on motor housings with C-face mounting. SDI’s model mounts directly to the motor flange face and serves as its primary interface to the torque load. It can be used with variable displacement motors,liquid flow meters,linear actuators and other drive motors to measure output torque in real time and at the source. The use of such sensors greatly reduces the potential for electrical noise due to bearings or slip ring brushes and allows for exposure in more extreme environments,such as at sea or in remote sites.
