The Dytran Model 1061C is a piezoelectric charge force sensor designed to measure compressive and tensile forces from lbf over a wide frequency range. This dynamic force sensor has a sensitivity of –9 pC/lbf,measures up to 500 lbs full scale in tension mode,and operates at a reliable high temperature of +500°F (+260°C). The Model 1061C is designed with a quartz sensing element,operates in compression mode,and is housed in a rugged stainless steel housing with a total weight of 420 grams. The unit includes a 10-U2013-32 radial connector and a series of 3/8-U2013-16 threaded holes located on the top and bottom of the sensor housing for easy installation.
