Hall effect sensors provide true zero speed operation,square wave output,immunity to interfering electrical noise,and a pulse disk or open and closed ring pulse packet is mounted on the monitoring shaft. As the shaft rotates,the magnet passes in front of the sensor,causing the sensor to switch high and low,producing a digital pulse output. When used with a pulse generator with evenly spaced alternating polarity magnets (such as the Model 255 Electronic Sensor Pulse Disk),the sensor provides a digital square wave signal with a 50\/50 duty cycle. Recommended clearance distance between sensor and pulse generator is 1/4 inches +/-1/8 inches. The flexibility of the clearance allows the sensor to withstand vibration,shaft runout,misalignment and industrial environments.,1101 The 1101 sensor has a non-threaded stainless steel body and comes with a mounting bracket and 10 feet of 3-conductor shielded cable. It is usually used with a pulse disk or a 60 pulse/revolution magnetic wheel.,931 XP (Explosion Proof) • Class I,Class I (C,D) Class II,Class I (E,F,G) Class III • 10 feet of 3-conductor shielded cable.
