The FSR force sensor has an ohmic resistance that decreases when pressure is applied. Two polymer layers were laminated together to obtain a sensor less than 1 mm thick: one covered with a network of electrodes and the other with printed semiconductors. The measurement repeatability is good (±2%). Low sensitivity to noise and vibration. The service life is more than 10 million times.
