340 BN/MB Btu Energy Transmitter,Data Industries from Badger Meter The 340 BN/MB Btu Energy Transmitter is an economical, compact device for secondary metering applications using BACnetTM or Modbus-u00ae communication protocols. The 340 BN/MB Btu energy transmitter uses the signal from a flow sensor installed in a hydronic heating or chilled water system and the signal from two 10k temperature thermistors,100 U2126 RTD or 1000 U2126 RTD installed at the system inlet and outlet points Calculate heat energy. Flow input can be provided by any data industrial sensor and many other pulse or sine wave signal flow sensors. Onboard microcontrollers and circuits take precise measurements and produce accurate,drift-free outputs. The 340 BN/MB Btu Energy Transmitter is programmed using Badger Meter Windows® based software. Users can preselect or enter calibration information for flow sensor type and pipe size on site. When the device is connected to a PC or laptop,it provides real-time flow, total flow, temperature, energy rate and total energy. The 340 BN\/MB Btu Energy Transmitter features three LEDs for verification of sensor input signals, network link and pulse output. The 340 BN\/MB Btu energy transmitter communicates via RS-485. The compact epoxy cast body measures 3.65 x 2.95 inches (93 x 75 mm) x 2.95 and can be easily mounted on a panel,DIN rail or enclosure.
