Product Highlights,Monarch 6203-012 Nova Strobe Dax 230V AC Digital Stroboscope with Xenon Flash Tube,Internal and External Trigger Modes,Internal Phase Shift Display Rate in Flashes Per Minute (FPM) or Flashes Per Second (Hz). It is designed for motion analysis,preventive maintenance,print inspection,harmonic analysis,and speed measurement of repetitive motion. Flash frequencies range from 30 to 20,000 FPM in internal and external trigger modes. The internal flash frequency can be adjusted in 0.1 step increments using the coarse/fine adjustment knob. Digital microprocessor makes readings accurate. Built-in multiply-by-2 and divide-by-2 buttons allow the operator to differentiate between actual RPM and harmonic frequencies and provide stop-motion viewing beyond the 20,000 FPM limit. Tachometer mode uses an external sensor (not included) to measure rpm up to 250,000 rpm. Independent Transistor-Transistor Logic (TTL) input and output jacks (1/8 phone) power the remote sensor and allow multiple strobes to be daisy-chained for extended coverage. Xenon flash tubes have flash times of 20 to 50 microseconds,providing clear images in bright areas. Xenon flash tubes have a brighter light output and shorter flash duration than LED lights. In bright areas,where high-quality images require bright light output,shorter flash durations can provide sharper images,especially at high rates. The continuous duty cycle and built-in threaded mounting allow the stroboscope to be installed for long-term use without the need for a cool-down period.
