MP Series flow meters are approved for use in hazardous locations (see specifications). Insertion thermal mass flow meters include a sensor and probe assembly that inserts into the process gas flow conduit to allow process gas to flow through the flow inlet tube. . Our insertion flow meters are available with 1/2",3/4" or 1" OD probes. Pipe fittings and ball valve retractor assemblies (with or without mounting flange) are also available from the factory as options Parts are supplied. Pipe length is determined by the size of the process pipe. Large pipes or stacks may require multiple averaging pipes for best accuracy. For questionable or unique installations,please consult the factory.,All Electrical for Integral Thermal Mass Flowmeters The components and connections are located in a housing. When necessary,the housing can be used in hazardous environments (MP series) or in normal,non-hazardous environments (MPNH series). The housing is mounted directly on the in-line flow section or insertion probe assembly at the measuring point. Enclosure includes all electrical connections,linearization electronics,and display/keyboard assembly.
