The acoustic analyzer AL1 is the predecessor of the XL2 audio and acoustic analyzer. It is a handheld sound level meter and acoustic analyzer for measuring and monitoring sound pressure levels,room acoustics and (optionally) speech intelligibility STIPA. Additionally,it provides basic audio measurement capabilities. These acoustic and audio features make the acoustic analyzer AL1 an ideal tool for measurement applications in installations,live sound,recording studios and broadcasts. AL1 requires the optional measurement microphone minipl to acquire the sound signal.,sound level meter,in addition to common instantaneous and integrated sound pressure level (SPL) measurements,repeatable LEQ and LCpeak measurements complete event monitoring requirements. AL1 visualizes the Real Audio Spectrum (RTA) without interrupting ongoing sound level measurements. All measurements can be logged to memory for further study.,RTA,real-time analyzer,the enhanced real-time spectrum analyzer (RTA) has high-speed measurement capabilities with selectable 1\/1 and 1\/3 octave bandwidth. RTA provides both real-time single-band SPL and LEQ measurements in compliance with IEC 60804. Stored spectra can be averaged or combined by using available mathematical functions. The Max monitor is particularly helpful in finding the main room modes and characteristics of the monitoring area.,Zoom FFT,AL1 provides fast,real-time zoom FFT with resolution up to 0.7 Hz across the entire frequency range. This is an ideal tool for visualizing comb filters and narrowband effects. Features also include detailed cursor readout and data storage.,RT60,Reverberation,Time Reverberation time is measured in octave audio bands (8 bands from 63 Hz to 8 kHz) according to ISO3382 and includes smart triggering and ranging functions. Post-processing supports RT60 measurements with 1/3 octave resolution. The reliability of the test results is expressed by the confidence index. A suitable gated pink noise sequence is included on the Miniator MR-PRO and the supplied test CD. Delay Time,The propagation delay time measurement for a speaker setup is made between the AL1's electrical input and the built-in microphone. Automatic differential calculations simplify verification of correct delay arrangements for larger halls and auditoriums. The specified chirp is provided by the microcomputer MR-PRO or the provided test CD. Electrical Measurements In addition to speaker and system polarity verification,the AL1 also includes basic electrical functions such as level RMS and distortion (THD+N) measurements. Unique smart features such as the Indicator (which instantly displays balance/imbalance issues with the connected signal) support quick debugging of your audio system. Speech Intelligibility STIPA (optional),the STIPA analyzer option allows long-lasting and reliable speech intelligibility measurements in 15 seconds (typical). In addition to single-value STI or CIS test results,a detailed view of modulation metrics and individual band-level results is provided. The STIPA analyzer includes amplitude weighting in accordance with the 2003 IEC 60268-16 standard version. Specified STIPA test signals are provided by the Miniator MR-PRO or the supplied test CD.,the collected measurements can be referenced to the previously established background noise level spectrum,and the STI value is automatically recalculated.
