AlphaComposites™ are ideal for applications requiring increased sound absorption and/or sound isolation. AlphaComposites™ not only help control sound transmission by adding sound-damping mass,but they also isolate some structural vibrations by decoupling the mass of the vinyl sound barrier from the structure to which it is connected. AlphaComposites™ are available in sheet or roll. There are many options when working with these composites,such as different thicknesses,melamine (Class 1 fire-resistant) or polyurethane foam,various finishes (mylar,polyurethane,cellular vinyl,tedlar,etc.),peel and stick backings,and Die cutting for O.E.M. work.
