ARAMIS is a powerful optical system for measuring three-dimensional deformation and strain of complex materials and structures during loading. The instrument is a high-intensity,full-field,non-contact strain measurement device. The system utilizes a high-resolution digital CCD camera to perform non-contact measurements of three-dimensional deformation and strain using a three-dimensional image correlation method (digital image correlation,DIC). The deformation of the structure under different loading conditions was recorded using a CCD camera and evaluated using digital image processing technology. The results are 3D coordinates,3D displacements,surface strains and full strain tensors,Ceramics - Thermal expansion measurements - Finite element confirmation and boundary condition checks - Fracture mechanics and stability assessment - Dimensioning of components - Checking of non-linear deformation behavior - Characterization of creep and aging processes - high-speed deformation and strain measurements
