FCI offers temperature switches mounted in thermowells with integral or remote solid-state electronics,encased in protective housings for direct mounting on commercial and military aircraft,spacecraft,vehicles and marine Applications in pipes and conduits. These switches utilize highly reliable resistance temperature detector (RTD) elements to provide a linear in resistance that is proportional to temperature changes in a liquid or gas process. The supplied FCI electronics are equipped with up to three independent switching points,set by FCI at customer-specified values,to indicate temperature changes in the customer's process fluid. FCI also offers thermistor and thermocouple switching electronics upon customer request.
