SubCtech has more than 26 years of history in the field of marine instruments. It is a wholly-owned enterprise with a high degree of independence in production and research and development. Multiple components of the instrument are protected by patents and have unique technological advancement,measurement accuracy and good durability. SubCtech has long-term cooperation with the GEOMAR Research Institute of the Holmhertz Institute in Germany to ensure that all R&D designs are of the highest quality. The company has professional marine instrument design and R&D qualifications certified by ISO 13628-6 and API17f,as well as ISO 9001:2015 certification. Manufacturing qualifications,the company's engineers all have high-standard IPC-A-600/610-3 to SIL-2 qualification certification.

The German SubCtech company's OceanPackTM Buoy in-situ carbon dioxide analyzer is a highly integrated integrated system that is compatible with multiple probes for measuring pH,DO,CTD and other data. It can also be loaded with batteries to achieve fully automatic operation. It has a wide range of applications and can be integrated into buoys or run independently. It has better performance,strong stability and adaptability,autonomous operation capabilities that greatly reduce manual participation,and a fully scalable system design that fully meets various system requirements.

The unique design of OceanPackTM makes it highly praised in the field of water-gas CO2 measurement. The carbon dioxide analyzer is integrated into a Ø200 x 500mm POM shell. The entire instrument is submerged in water,and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is collected through an external air inlet box. Switching measurement between the two can be achieved. Its unique feature is that it uses a special membrane structure to realize the diffusion of carbon dioxide into the detection chamber. The detection chamber is equipped with a mature LI-COR® series analyzer to detect the carbon dioxide concentration and output a signal. Compared with using osmosis to achieve partial pressure,A balanced instrument,the membrane balancer is affected by permeability,concentration polarization and membrane permeability. The gas in the chamber changes gently,so the signal is very smooth. In addition,due to its simple operation,the detection process is short,the response is fast,and the data more precise.

The system integrates the stable working infrared analyzer LI-COR® LI-840x series,which is currently the carbon dioxide analyzer on the market with relatively accurate measurement accuracy,relatively stable long-term performance,and basically no maintenance. It is used to monitor the CO2/H2O concentration in surface seawater and atmosphere in the marine environment,and its related parameters (temperature,salinity,pH). The instrument comes with all the software and hardware needed to switch seawater/atmosphere measurements,and supports the free adjustment of the time and period for measuring water and air CO2. Stable data can be obtained within 1 minute of switching time. The system control software has strong compatibility,and the system has complete self-monitoring functions,inc system self-monitoring and measurement data monitoring,etc. to ensure data quality and can operate itself without human operation.

OceanPackTM is compatible with almost any number of probes,exp its applications. Relevant parameters can be basically measured synchronously,and the measured data is displayed on the screen in real time through the data collector in the host. There is no need to add additional bypasses or export the data for complex calculations. Users can also choose whether to add more analyzers to the bypass to measure relevant parameters as needed.

German SubCtech analyzer performance improvement

Traditional carbon dioxide analyzer

Sensor principle

High-performance LI-COR® LI-840X analyzer,inc dual-wavelength NDIR dedicated to detecting CO2and H2O;

Only the infrared detector IR has inaccurate measurement accuracy,unstable performance,and is easily affected by other gases.

Measuring range

CO2:0-3000 ppm;H2O:0-80ppt;CO2≤20000 ppm;

The measuring range is 100-600ppm,and the applicable range is small

resolution

CO2:0.01 ppm;H2O:0.001 ppt

For H2The resolution of O is not high

Sampling rate

Typical output frequency is 1Hz,with optional averaging; users can perform one-click settings through the touch screen control box,and the storage rate is configurable

The sampling frequency must be controlled by the controller,and the sampling frequency is relatively single and cannot be set according to the actual situation.

air carbon dioxide

Collect air for analysis through an IP68 waterproof air inlet box,automatically analyze at planned time intervals,and switch quickly; use air carbon dioxide ports and additional air inlets

The switching speed of water,gas and carbon dioxide is slow and the operation is inconvenient.

calibration

Can be calibrated automatically

Requires manual calibration on a regular basis

Data interface

RS-232 or RS-485; standard ASCII NMEA-0183 data protocol; easy to integrate into existing systems; optional wireless links such as Ethernet,wireless LAN,etc.

Only RS-232 serial port output,difficult to expand,and the transmission speed is slow

external sensor

Nutrient analyzer; water quality sampler; GPS; CTD/multi-parameter water quality analyzer; support meteorological equipment through RS-485 connector; standard probe integrated into the debubbler

Basically does not support external expansion,and it is difficult to upgrade functions on the existing basis.

control unit

NetDI® industrial-grade embedded computer; 2GB CF memory for system and data backup; programmable controller for automatic calibration; 180 calibration formulas; optional alarm function

Ordinary control unit

Anti-corrosion

Corrosion-resistant design for balancer sensor heads

Easily attached to organisms

shell

Small and durable POM and titanium alloy material; fully protected against high waves;

Lightweight: 15kg,not inc optional sensor and battery pack; 1kg positive buoyancy in sea water

Small: diameter 200mm,length 520mm

The aluminum alloy shell is used,which has poor corrosion resistance and is not strong enough to withstand severe weather.

powered by

12-28 V DC; typical power consumption is 8 watts; temperature rise ≤ power consumption 15 watts; choose a lithium battery pack,such as 14.8V,45-117Ah

Fujitsu
