U2019s cantilevered full-bridge sensor rollers are designed for accurate,repeatable measurement of the tension of paper,film,foil and other narrow web materials. Each sensor has four semiconductor strain sensors at each end of the roller. The pressure gauge produces an output signal proportional to the tension of the web as it passes through the rollers. The sum of these signals represents the average tension of the entire network.
