CCD temperature controllers are used as single circuit remote control thermostats that require weatherproofing. The OMEGALUX CCD100N SPST thermostat uses a temperature-sensitive bimetallic disk in an epoxy sealed housing. When the non-adjustable calibrated setpoint is reached,the valve disc activates the plunger,causing the heavy-duty switch contacts to open. The CCD100N is typically used as a jumper switch,but can also be used to operate contactor coils and other similar devices.
