The sensor consists of an upper cover, a shell and a lower cover. There are piezoelectric sheets and circuit boards inside the shell, which can be fixed on a column with an outer diameter of 50mm. The sensor uses the impact measurement principle to measure the weight of individual raindrops and then calculate the amount of rainfall. During the falling process, the raindrop is affected by the weight of the raindrop and air resistance. When it reaches the ground, its speed is constant. Two installation methods

1. Installation on 76mm pole


The supporting semicircle cross arm is suitable for a 2-inch and a half vertical pole (outer diameter 76mm). The sensor is installed using 2 M3*10 cross round head screws with a hole spacing of 64mm.2. Install on the top of the 50mm pole


It is equipped with a vertical pole with an outer diameter of 50mm (wall thickness not greater than 3mm). An M6 threaded hole is opened on the side of the pole. The center of the hole is 8mm from the top of the pole. Use M6*15 cross round head screws to fix the sensor.
