These small,self-contained balances are sturdy yet easy to use. Ideal for laboratory,industrial and domestic use,constructed from steel and cast aluminum with adjustable hardened steel pivot and self-aligning steel bearings. Built-in platform and steel locking mechanism ensure safe and reliable operation and portability. Models can be in inertia or metric scale. Class III legal trade models available. A sliding is standard and allows blank taring up to 10 lbs. Metric models have a secondary with a 2kg tare weight. Tare adjustment is tool operated. The lower left or right beam section can be used as a tare measuring rod. The features adjustable leveling legs,a bubble level indicator and a built-in carrying handle. Weighs approximately 23 lbs (11 kg). Total height is approximately 5.5 inches (140mm).
