Civacon-cane probes are used to provide overflow detection in situations where a permanent sensor cannot be properly secured to the tank or rail car. They provide a portable,flexible solution to meet different overflow requirements. Changes in temperature conditions of the product or surrounding environment – do not affect the performance of the rattan probe. This flexible technology allows you to adapt the cane probe to different overflow needs. Probes are available in standard 20,36 and 48 lengths with a coiled cable and 7-way plug for easy connection to the cane probe junction box. This feature allows the probe to be easily removed for storage or transferred to another loading point.,the sensing point can be easily set by adjusting the sensor position in the tank. This is accomplished via a large adjustment knob on the rattan probe clamp.,2013,there are three types of rattan probes available,a clip-on probe for open dome sensing,a Kamlok-type probe for closed systems,and one for chemical domes and new universal clamps for oil manholes.
