German AMT CO2 sensor

Category: CO2 Monitor
Model: CO2
Keywords: CO2 sensor,carbon dioxide monitor
Supplier: Technology Co.,Ltd.

Product introduction:

The CO2 sensor of the German AMT company is used to measure the dissolved carbon dioxide content in water (inc HCO3- and CO32-),which is one of the important parameters for water quality monitoring.

German AMT Company——CO2 sensor

Measuring the dissolved carbon dioxide content (inc HCO3- and CO32-) in water is one of the important parameters for water quality monitoring. The German company AMT has developed a new type of membrane-covered optical CO2 sensor with a titanium alloy housing and other optimized features. The CO2 sensor has a pressure-resistant depth of up to 1,000 meters, has analog output and digital output, small current intake, and internal temperature compensation functions. The CO2 sensor can be connected to the external interface of the CTD with a separate measuring system and can be used as a stand-alone sensor.

Measurement principle:

The sensor separates the sample from the internal volume via a gas-permeable silicone membrane. Liquids and solids cannot pass through the silicone membrane. When the sensor is immersed in the sample, the CO2 partial pressure can be equalized between the sensor volume and the sample. The internal sensor is an optical sensor and its working principle is based on single-beam dual-wavelength infrared analysis. CO2 is measured by using the temperature in the water and the pressure in the air to calculate the carbon dioxide concentration.

characteristic:

- Submersible direct-reading sensors for natural, seawater and industrial water

- In addition,CO2 and total inorganic carbon can be detected when measuring pH

- No interference from silicates,phosphates,HCO3- and CO32

- Internally stored calibration coefficients

- Pressure resistant depth 1000 meters

- Power consumption is less than 0.5W

- Digital output or analog output

- Internal temperature compensation

- Humidity compensation and other influencing factors

- Heated sensor head avoids condensation

Optical carbon dioxide sensors offer some significant advantages over M chemistry. No interference from silicates,phosphates,HCO3- and CO32- was found in the comparison.
