The Crystal XP2i Series is unlike any other pressure gauge. Their appearance,performance and construction are different from other products available.,the XP2i series of pressure gauges are extremely robust. Their display is protected by a hard polycarbonate lens,and their circuitry is housed in elastomer to protect against impact. The housing and sensor are made of stainless steel,which is corrosion-resistant and well blocks radiation from cell phones,two-way radios,and other electronic noisy devices. The housing is gasketed and waterproof according to NEMA4 and IP66. Replaceable filters in the sensor keep debris out.,unlike mechanical pressure gauges,Crystal XP2i Series pressure gauges are able to withstand larger overpressure events without changes in calibration.,the XP2i series is very easy to use. There are no menus - just buttons. They can be calibrated via keypad or RS232 port. The display backlighting is the best on this gauge. Combine the XP2i with a pressure controller and you can automatically calibrate the XP2i. XP2i ratings are measured in percentages - like a deadweight tester - but unlike a deadweight tester,they are not affected by ambient temperature or local gravity. These pressure gauges are fully temperature compensated so accuracy is the same over the entire operating temperature range. They can even be used to measure vacuum levels. Because ratings are readings,one XP2i can often replace two or more regular meters
