RainWise CV7-E Weather Instrument

The unique CV7 series of high-precision sensors are available in a variety of output configurations. The high-speed models CV7-E and CV7-EL are equipped as standard with a serial RS422/RS232 bus using the famous NMEA 0183 output protocol. With no moving parts to wear out and no need for routine calibration,the CV7 sensor line requires no maintenance! The standard CV7-E high-speed sensor has a sampling rate of 4Hz. While the CV7-EL comes with a 16-foot (5-meter) multi-conductor cable,the CV7-E comes with an 82-foot (25-meter) cable. The CV7-E\/EL sensor can be upgraded to USB connectivity by adding a USB black box. Likewise,for analog requirements,2 different rail-mountable external interface units are available,providing multiple 0-10V or 4-20ma outputs respectively. Additional savings are available when purchasing the CV7-E or CV7-EL with USB as a complete package. All sensors are mounted on a 310mm/16mm diameter aluminum post with a mounting bracket CV7-E and EL inc free configuration software. The CV7 compact wind sensor offers high accuracy and low power consumption,making it ideal for the most dem wind sensing applications.
