The dScope Series III audio analyzer is an industrial-grade audio test and measurement system that includes a Windows PC software application and an external high-precision audio interface processor for equipment under test (EUT) connectivity. The dScope Series III architecture takes advantage of the Windows platform's increasing processing and multitasking capabilities,allowing the system to measure many parameters simultaneously,which means faster speeds. The external interface processor connects to a PC via a standard USB port,making it easy to use with a wide variety of PCs,inc laptops. The external interface processor includes precise analog and digital outputs and inputs that are highly optimized for measurement applications. Precise and automatic gain range allows high-resolution measurements from a few microvolts to over 150 volts RMS,and from less than 1 Hz to over 90 kHz. The dScope Series III interface processor uses a dedicated DSP to provide a wide range of real-time measurements,and the dScope Series III software uses the host PC for virtually unlimited digital processing and analysis options such as Fast Fourier Transform (FFT),power spectrum analysis,swept sine and multi- Sound test. The dScope interface processor also provides controlled degradation and analysis of AES3 and S\/PDIF digital audio carriers. The software also allows dScope to use an installed Windows sound device (such as a sound card or Bluetooth audio headset) as a generator output or analyzer source using WDM or ASIO drivers. This also enables dScope to use external devices as additional inputs or outputs,or to test those inputs or outputs themselves. dScope Series III is highly programmable - ideal for production test automation and professional custom audio analysis. It can also be automated through a variety of third-party software using ActiveX controls - almost everything you can do with dScope can be automated and controlled remotely. Additionally,the dScope Series III's rich feature set means it can do many of the jobs of traditional instruments,which in turn means cost savings,especially when recalibration is required!
