This flexible cable extension probe is designed for high,medium and low level detection when a top mounted sensor is required. It is also very effective in aggregate,coal or other bulky materials that can damage rigid probes. Extension cords are available in shielded bare (maximum length 35 feet) and shielded PTFE-coated (maximum length 25 feet) cables. The cable can be cut to the required length on site. Both feature shield protection to prevent false readings caused by coating or build-up. Shielded bare cable extension probes allow installation in isolation ducts or nozzles. Shielded PTFE-sleeved cable extensions should be used in applications where conductive materials (such as most liquids) may leave residue on the probe.
