Fluid Components Intl. (FCI) FS10A Gas Flow Switch

The FS10A is a universal flow monitor and switch designed specifically for gas and liquid process analyzer sampling systems. The FS10A is a fast-response,highly repeatable sensor that easily installs into standard tee fittings or the new SP76 (NeSSI) modular manifold. The FS10A uses proven thermal diffusion flow measurement technology and FCI's proprietary equal-mass sensing technology to achieve superior sensitivity and repeatability. The wetted parts of the instrument are high-grade,corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel with Hastelloy-C sensor head. The sensor element requires no moving parts to contaminate,clog or maintain,ensuring continued reliability and no maintenance costs. There are no cavities,orifices or dead spaces to trap or contaminate samples,main sample integrity and faster system sampling times. The FS10A electronics are packaged in a rugged,fully sealed aluminum enclosure,providing superior protection and life under all process conditions. The electronic components can be integrated with the sensor components to form an integrated independent unit (FS10A-N,FS10A-1,FS10A-2),or the electronic components can be separated from the sensor for remote installation (FS10A-,FS10A-3,FS10A- 4). Remote configuration is useful when the sensor mounting area is subject to high temperatures or when the front panel and display are mounted in a more convenient location. The instrument provides a top-mounted flow rate monitoring LED array for providing a visual indication of appropriate flow rate to the analyzer or sampling system,that an alarm/trip has been reached,and that the unit is powered on and operating. The flow switch setpoint is conveniently set by the user via two buttons on the top of the device.
