GF Signet 2540 Paddlewheel Flow Sensor offers the strength and corrosion resistance of stainless steel for low speed measurement of liquid applications. The GF Signet 2540 Paddlewheel Flow Sensor's unique internal circuitry eliminates the need for magnets in the process fluid,enabling flow measurements of 0.1 to 6 m\/s (0.3 to 20 ft/s) while main the advantages of an insertion sensor design GF The Signet 2540 Paddlewheel Flow Sensor features Viton B/PTFE bearings and tungsten carbide pins providing excellent wear resistance. The GF Signet 2540 Paddlewheel Flow Sensor offers field-replaceable electronics and Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) to increase immunity to large voltage disturbances (i.e. lightning) sometimes encountered in field wiring. The GF Signet 2540 Paddlewheel Flow Sensor can be installed in pipes from DN40 to DN600 (1.5 to 24 inches) using 1.5-inch or ISO 7\/1-R.15 threading. The GF Signet 2540 Paddle Flow Sensor is also available in a hot tap configuration with a bleed valve,eliminating the need for process shutdown in pipes up to DN900 (36 inches). Two versions of the GF Signet 2540 Paddlewheel Flow Sensor must be used in full and can be used in low pressure systems.
