The GX18B20 digital thermometer provides temperature measurement with 9 to 12 bit resolution, and can realize lower and upper temperature alarms through a programmable non-volatile memory unit. GX18B20 uses a single bus protocol to communicate with the host computer, requiring only one signal line and one ground wire. Its temperature measurement range is -55℃~ +125℃ (-67°F to +257°F). The test accuracy can reach ±0.4℃ in the range of -10℃~70℃. In addition, it can work in parasitic mode and directly power the chip through the signal line, eliminating the need for an additional power supply. Each GX18B20 has a 64-bit serial number. Multiple GX18B20s can be connected in series on the same single bus for networking. Only one processor is needed to control multiple GX18B20s distributed in a large area. This networking method is particularly suitable for HVAC environment control, building, equipment, grain temperature measurement, industrial temperature measurement, and process monitoring and control and other application fields.
