Mechanically robust with a chemically and condensation-proof sensing area,the IST AG HYT 221 with a round stainless steel housing easily fits into the housing opening and can be sealed against the wall using O-ring. Combined with a waterproof metal filter,the result is an assembly that is splash-proof,enabling a sealed housing construction while providing a high dynamic response. Precisely calibrated,the HYT 221 provides ±1.8%RH and ±0.2°C accuracy and combines the benefits of a precision capacitive polymer humidity sensor with the high integration density and functionality of an ASIC. Digital software integrated in the module processes the measurement data and transmits the physical parameters of relative humidity and temperature as digital values via an I²C-compatible interface. The HYT 221 modules are fully interchangeable,require no adjustment,and are corrected for both linearity errors and temperature drift,resulting in exceptional accuracy over a wide range of applications.
