CARLO GAVAZZI ICB12 & ICB18 & ICB30 inductive proximity sensor

The new generation ICB series is a complete family of high-performance inductive sensors for non-contact and wear-free detection of metal objects in industrial automation applications such as packaging,material handling and machine tools. Advanced electronics are packaged in a rugged nickel-plated brass housing. It is available in three diameters: M12,M18 and M30,with sensing distances ranging from 4 to 22 mm. In-vehicle IO link communication offers many possibilities,such as simple configuration and setup of devices,as well as advanced parameter settings.

• A complete family. Available in rugged nickel-plated brass housing for m12,m18 and m30 with operating distances from 4 to 22 mm.
• Reduce machine downtime. Due to the extended operating distance,the risk of mechanical damage is reduced.
• Easy to install. The ICB sensor has a milled part for the wrench handle and two different thread lengths. Users can choose from 2m PVC cable and M12 disconnect plug versions.
• High precision. The onboard advanced microcontroller ensures better stability with respect to environmental influences,with highly reliable repeatable measurements between -25 and +70°C.
• Easily customizable to specific OEM requirements: different cable lengths and materials,special labels,custom pigtail solutions,and special cables and connectors.
• The output can be operated as a switch output or in io-link mode.
• Fully configurable via io link v1.1. Electrical outputs can be configured as pnp/npn/push-pull,normally open or normally closed.
• Timer functions such as switching delays can be set
• The sensing distance and hysteresis are adjustable: The sensing distance can be set to 33%,50%,75% or 100% of the maximum sensing distance
• Temperature monitoring: over-temperature or under-temperature alarms can be set
