High-resolution and high-speed – cooled long-wave infrared camera,InfraTec,with its ImageIR® 8800,offers another top-of-the-line thermal imaging camera model belonging to the ImageIR® high-end camera series. It is equipped with a cooled long-wavelength infrared focal plane array photon detector providing a (640×512) infrared pixel format and operates in snapshot mode. Combining excellent thermal resolution better than 0.025 K with extremely high frame rates of up to Hz and extremely short integration times of just a few microseconds,the camera can be used for aerial biological and geological surveys,non-destructive testing and rapid thermal process analysis,with related to the large temperature measurement range. Its modular structure consisting of optical modules,detector modules and interface modules makes it easy to adapt to the respective application. The integrated trigger interface ensures repeatable and high-precision triggering of fast programs. Multiple configurable digital inputs and outputs serve as control ports for cameras or as control signal generators for external devices. Optical channels include interchangeable infrared lens systems as well as application-specific apertures,filters and optics.
