Products

The InfraCal model ATR-SP is recommended for measuring oil in water,TPH in soil or wastewater mist concentration levels when using n-hexane,pentane or Vertrel MCA as extraction solvent. Measurement data obtained using this analyzer will be linked to EPA Method 1664,as both procedures are based on evaporation techniques and measurement of residual oil and grease. The analyzer has a built-in cubic zirconia horizontal attenuated total reflection (HATR) stainless steel sample stage. InfraCal 2 ATR-SP directly replaces the HATR-T2 used worldwide for determination of TOG/TPH in water and soil. To ensure that the oil level in the water is within the prescribed limits,it is important to conduct regular tests. Infrared analysis technology has been used to measure offshore oil for more than 45 years. Infrared is a recognized oil content measurement that affects minimal changes in produced water composition.,pre-treatment of industrial wastewater and public water treatment plants Simplified process monitoring of mist emissions can avoid fines for sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs),giving results on-site in less than 15 minutes, rather than days or weeks for an external laboratory result.,InfraCal 2 adds features such as touch screen, data storage and transfer,multi-language interface and password protection settings. With internal battery pack allowing portability and up to 6 hours of continuous use,the InfraCal 2 analyzer with ATR sample stage can now be used to measure oil in water or soil in the 0.5-10% range. The sample is extracted using a solvent that has no infrared absorption at hydrocarbon wavelengths and therefore does not require evaporation. Measuring the extract directly in the solvent, rather than evaporating the solvent, allows percent range measurements with the ATR sample stage for measuring ppm levels.
