Radial JDI is a passive direct box designed to handle extreme signal levels without producing any form of distortion. Unlike active DI,which is limited by the buffer amplifier rail voltage,JDI uses Jensen audio transformers as the engine. Jensen Transformers are legendary for their ability to handle transients gracefully while delivering a smooth,warm Bezier curve that is reminiscent of the best vintage gear. With a flat ruler from 10Hz to 40kHz and almost zero phase deviation,JDI delivers a natural,pure instrument sound without artificial interference. The 100% passive circuitry inside JDI is extremely efficient. The transformer performs high-to-low impedance conversion and signal balancing while loading with minimal load,and does so without any power.
