The LM13 ring encoder features a compact,sealed read head and a magnetized ring. The actuator is a periodically magnetized ring with a pole length of 2 mm. Radial or axial reading of the ring is possible. The read head can ride on the surface of the ring up to 0.4 mm.,easy to install,the LM13 features a fully set LED read head and wide mounting tolerances. The encoders are available with analog or digital outputs and offer a range of customer-selectable interpolation factors. The LM13 can rotate at up to 20,000 rpm. Designed for extreme applications,the solid-state LM13 ring encoder has an operating range of -10°C to +80°C,is waterproof and sealed to IP68,and is highly resistant to shock,vibration and pressure. The strong magnetic rings are also resistant to a range of chemicals commonly found in industry.
