The Columbia Series LMT-50 Linear Motion Series Sensor is a unified rugged package consisting of a series linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) and probe assembly. The design of these units makes it very unlikely that a single fault will affect both output signals. The LMT-50 Series tandem motion sensors are primarily used in aircraft and missile control systems that require redundant systems to provide flight-proven performance in even the harshest environments.,the LMT-50 provides high transmission sensitivity of 36 volts per inch at 6VRMS excitation.
