The LN-260 sensor assembly provides the highest performance and reliability,lightest weight and lowest power INS/GPS available on the market. Jitter-free,low-noise fiber optic gyroscope technology eliminates self-induced acceleration and velocity noise. This results in superior navigation and synthetic aperture radar stability performance,as well as the most accurate target location. LN-260 Advantage,Northrop Grumman's proven lightweight INS/GPS offers several advantages over its competitors. Our fiber optic gyroscopes are developed from the latest,proven fiber optic technology and weigh less than 26 lbs (11.79 kg). The LN-260 is equipped with three independent navigation solutions: hybrid INS/GPS,INS only and GPS only. Our INS/GPS solutions provide more accurate speed measurements,superior interference immunity,and are highly reliable on every military platform. LN-260 Growth Potential,this versatile product easily integrates with many different GPS applications such as: Spark u2122,OmniStar u2122 and ZNAV u2122. The LN-260 will be coordinated with M-code when available and ready to integrate the Joint Precision Approach and System solution. It can also be tightly coupled with standard location services GPS cards. The unit has two spare card slots so it can host additional user-defined functions.
