The LN-270 is a highly adaptable inertial navigation system/global positioning system (INS/GPS) that can be used for navigation or land-based fixing/stabilization solutions. Northrop Grumman's LN-270 is an integrated land navigator used as a precision pointing/stabilization system for land-based and maritime military applications. The LN-270 combines a high-precision,integrated fiber optic gyroscope (FOG),inertial navigation system and 12-channel P(Y) code GPS. Jitter-free inertial sensors provide the most accurate pointing information,increasing sensor accuracy. Additionally,low-noise fog technology eliminates self-induced acceleration and speed noise.
