The LV-40 single station level switch is made entirely of 316SS and is designed to withstand the effects of a wide range of chemicals. The unit has a maximum operating temperature of 300F and can be used to meet many liquid level control applications,inc medical and water purification requirements. Its small float displacement allows high accuracy and reliability in shallow tanks and reservoirs. See chart on page K-4 for maximum voltage/current ratings. The LV-50 Series level switches provide the highest performance and reliability under the harshest operating conditions. This sensor includes a larger float displacement and all-stainless steel construction for consistent level monitoring in liquids with pressures up to 750 PSI. Ideal for liquid level sensing in chemical plants and systems,models are suitable for temperatures up to 480F. To determine the specific gravity of a liquid,add 0.1 float specific gravity to clean liquids and 0.3 float specific gravity to dirty or viscous liquids.
