These level switches are sealed with sealing compound. The only way liquid can get into an electrical switch is through the wire. If the wires are terminated in a proper manner (such as a NEMA-6 connector),the level switch will meet or exceed NEMA-6 ratings,making it suitable for diving in wet environments for years of worry-free operation. Sealed SPST switches provide consistent accuracy and high repeatability with minimal effects from shock,vacuum or vibration. This switch is very versatile as it is user selectable as a normally open or normally closed,simply reverse the float or mount switch. Standard NPT male fittings allow for quick installation on the top or bottom of a tank or vessel.
