KSONIK Miniature LP Ultrasonic Level Transmitter is designed to measure liquid (16 ft/5 m) level. The range is configurable via keyboard and monitor. KMICRO LP is installed on the top of a container or tank. The microprocessor in the KMICRO LP triggers an electronic pulse,which the sensor converts into an acoustic pulse. The pulse moves to the measured level and is reflected back to the sensor. The sensor then converts the energy back into an electronic signal and stops a counter in the microprocessor. Then knowing the speed of the sound through the air,the distance can be accurately determined. Powerful software eliminates false echoes and electronic filters eliminate ambient noise
