Sitron MSLU Liquid Level Sensor

The SLU ultrasonic level meter is a compact measuring device consisting of an ultrasonic transmitter and an electronic module. The transducer generates ultrasonic pulses that propagate toward the target medium at the speed of sound. These sound waves are reflected from the surface of the medium and received by the transducer system. The time of flight between the sensor and the surface and back to the sensor is measured. Based on the time period of a single pulse propagating towards the level and back,which is averaged by the electronics (also temperature compensated) and subsequently converted via the HART protocol into an output current 4…20mA,a voltage 0…10 V or an output RS- 485 Modbus,the measured value is shown on the display.
