Fluid Components Intl. (FCI) MT100S Mass Flow Meters and Controllers

The MT100 Series is an insertion-type multi-point thermal flow meter designed for large diameter ducts (such as chimneys and flues) and large rectangular ducts (such as air inlets and HVAC). The application of these large pipes is difficult for ordinary flow meters because the distorted flow profile and lack of straight pipe sections can lead to inaccurate and non-repeatable flow measurements. FCI's MT100 places up to eight (8) flow sensing points in the flow of water and averages them,resulting in highly accurate and repeatable flow measurements. Unlike other large pipe flow meters,the MT100 has no moving parts or orifice plates to clog or clog. The plug-in design on the same plane makes it easy to install and less expensive. There are solutions available for use in fluids with temperatures up to 850°F 454°C. The electronics feature dual 4-20mA outputs with HART and Modbus,and optional Foundation fieldbus or PROFIBUS,a state-of-the-art touch-sensitive large digital + graphic LCD display,data logging,calibration self-test and easy wiring. The transmitter housing is made of the highest quality corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
