Product introduction:

Net Probe is an integrated sensor for plankton nets. The system consists of a titanium alloy pressure chamber and a deck control unit. The pressure chamber integrates a pressure sensor and two electronic mesh flow meters with compensation functions to accurately measure the flow rate and flow rate at various depths during plankton net operation. Customers can also select additional sensors for other parameters as needed,such as salinity,temperature,chlorophyll a,turbidity,etc. The relevant data from these sensors will be displayed on the LCD screen of the deck control unit.

Net Probe is an integrated sensor for plankton nets. The system consists of a titanium alloy pressure chamber and a deck control unit. The pressure chamber integrates a pressure sensor and two electronic mesh flow meters with compensation functions to accurately measure the flow rate and flow rate at various depths during plankton net operation. Customers can also select additional sensors for other parameters as needed,such as salinity,temperature,chlorophyll a,turbidity,etc. The relevant data from these sensors will be displayed on the LCD screen of the deck control unit.

The working depth of Net Probe can reach 6000 meters,and the standard configuration is 3000 meters. Net Probe consumes less power when working and can work normally in an environment with a temperature of -40℃~+85℃. The entire system can be controlled by the control buttons on the deck control unit to collect data online in real time; it can also collect data offline and in a self-contained manner.

The power supply of Net Probe is provided by 3 lithium batteries,which are placed in an external removable battery compartment. The battery can be easily replaced without opening the main electronics compartment,which avoids the of water intrusion into the electronics compartment and avoids corrosion of the circuit board. Net Probe data can be collected using the data collection software OceanLab. OceanLab is an easy-to-use installation package that can realize real-time data collection,data visualization,storage and output functions.

CT components:

The Net Probe is combined with the CT component to have the complete functions of a CTD (Temperature and Salt Depth Device). The CT assembly consists of a conductivity sensor,a temperature sensor and an additional circuit board,which are fully integrated on the pressure chamber. According to the UNESCO formula,the system can calculate salinity,density,sound velocity and other indicators from the obtained CTD data.
