Inertial Labs OS3D Gyroscope

The world’s smallest fully embedded absolute orientation sensor,measuring only 0.4in3,Inertia Labs OS3D (aka OSv3) combines sensor technologies such as magnetometers,gyroscopes and accelerometers to measure the absolute orientation of any object . Its internal microcontroller processes data from nine discrete sensing axes and produces quaternion directional solutions,which are then made available via a standard RS-485 data bus.,by using RS-485,OS3D is able to daisy chain,allowing multiple sensors to be used simultaneously. This,combined with its dynamic range and smaller size,makes OSv3 ideally suited for human motion sensing applications that need to track multiple body segments or even the entire body
