Thermal imaging cameras can be used in a variety of research and development applications. Until today, the use of thermal imaging cameras was usually the prerogative of large R&D departments. The OSXL-A35SC/OSXL-A15SC and OSXL-A5SC thermal imaging systems now bring the advantages of thermal imaging to every R&D engineer’s test bench. The OSXL-A35SC/OSXL-A15SC and OSXL-A5SC models are not only affordable but also include the hardware and software to analyze and validate your R&D projects. You will be able to visualize and measure temperature in a non-contact way. The OSXL-A35SC produces crisp thermal images of 320 x 256 pixels. Users who do not require this high image quality can choose the OSXL-A15SC,which produces a 160 x 128 pixel thermal image,or the OSXL-A5SC,which produces an 80 x 64 pixel thermal image. The OSXL-A35SC,OSXL-A15SC and OSCL-SC5 are affordable infrared camera kits designed specifically for hot bench testing applications. The compact packaging makes the OSXL-A5SC ideal for desktop PCs and allows deployment in locations where size constraints are critical. They are available in a variety of pixel resolutions to meet the spatial resolution requirements of most applications. Eliminate guesswork and view thermal patterns with thermal images and extract temperature values from live or recorded images. The instrument features an uncooled microbolometer detector,is maintenance-free,and provides good long-wavelength imaging performance. Pixel resolutions and optics are available in 80 x 64,160 x 128,320 x 256 pixel formats, enabling a variety of fields of view. Versatile, compact, strong, lightweight and simple to install,it allows for quick installation and movement to meet new application requirements. With plug-and-play compatibility and an ideal system integration solution via the GigE Vision and GenICam protocols, these cameras are fully configurable from the PC,allowing camera control and real-time image acquisition. Fast data transfer and RJ45 GB Ethernet connection provide 14-bit images at frame rates up to 60 Hz. Image and data acquisition can be done with OSXL-ASC tools + recording and analysis software to record thermal snapshots and movies. GigE Vision® is a new camera interface standard developed using the Gigabit Ethernet communication protocol. GigE Vision is the first standard video interface that allows fast image transmission even over distances using low-cost standard cables. With GigE Vision, hardware and software from different vendors can interoperate seamlessly over GigE connections. The goal of GenICamTM is to provide a common programming interface for all types of cameras. Regardless of the interface technology (GigE Vision,Camera Link®,1394 DCAM,etc.) or the functionality implemented, the application programming interface (API) is always the same. The GenICam protocol also makes it possible to use third-party software with cameras. GenICam makes the OSXL-A35SC plug-and-play when used with software packages such as IMAQ Vision and Halcon.
