Overview: From its two-wire,three-color display to its universal power and input capabilities,Red Lion’s PAX® 2C PID controller is packed with features that set it apart from other PID controllers. Provides ideal multi-function input and output for flexible control cards requiring multiple input and output cards at the same time. The ramp hold feature allows the user to vary and maintain the machine temperature – (rising or falling) for a specific period of time,allowing for easy integration of time-stepping processes.,shows: The PAX2C PID controller offers many features and performance capabilities not found in standard PID controllers. Programmable two-line display with 2019 unit indication and bar graph display,allowing the user to customize the display based on the application. Four programmable universal displays and seven programmable color strips provide operators with quick and intuitive reference of application parameters.,Input: The PAX2C PID controller provides universal inputs supporting DC current,DC voltage,process signals,RTDs,thermocouples and resistors. Additional FlexCard plug-in options include a heater current monitor and/or a second process analog input that can be used for auxiliary process display,remote setpoints or additional PID controllers. Our option cards can be field installed during initial setup or at any time in the future,allowing users to reduce costs by easily changing or adding functionality to meet industrial requirements without the need for inventory.,Output: PAX2C PID controller provides 16 alarms with Boolean logic functions. Each mountable PAX2-C mountable analog output point and mountable PAX2-C output point. Setpoint cards include relay,solid state or triac outputs. The analog output card is programmable from 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 Vdc. Communication options include RS232,RS485,DeviceNet and Profibus. All output cards allow users to configure the PAX2C for current applications while providing simple upgrades for future needs.,Configuration: The PAX2C PID controller can be easily programmed using our Crimson® 2.0 software. Simple configuration is provided via an onboard USB interface that connects directly to the computer,and simple checkbox programming allows users to save time.
