These incremental shaft encoders are combined with two-phase stepper motors to indicate and control shaft speed and direction of rotation as well as position verification. The encoder is integrated into the stepper motor,which extends its overall length by only 11 mm. The supply voltages of the encoder and stepper motor as well as the output signals of both channels are connected via ribbon cables with connectors.
