Strainsert PLN-D2 force and torque instrument

Instructions are straightforward. No multiplier is required,thus ambiguous readings are avoided. Resolutions range from 1 lb to 1000 lb depending on sensor load capacity. Alternate display units are provided. \The operation is very simple. For normal use,only two controls are involved. Turn on the power switch,set no load balancing,and start reading the applied load. \Includes calibration check feature to quickly test sensor and instrument integrity. \The readout system is completely contained in a rugged and durable cast metal housing. Power is provided by a set of rechargeable batteries. The battery and charger with a retractable 120-volt AC power cord are included in the case. \Battery power allows complete freedom of use and provides 5-10 hours of continuous use depending on sensor resistance. Ratio measurement technology prevents battery loss from degrading system accuracy. When the battery voltage drops below functional levels,a visual display (flashing:) signals the need for charging. \Recharging is accomplished by unplugging the cord from the sealed compartment and plugging it into a standard 110-volt AC wall outlet. The battery fully charges overnight and can be left charged indefinitely
