Type PLND4 is a 4-1/2 digit indicator for use with any full bridge strain gage type sensor. Instructions are direct. No multiplier is required. easy to use. For normal use,only two controls are involved: turn on the power switch,set the no-load or tare reading to zero,and start reading the applied load. Spare display units available. Includes calibration check functionality to quickly test sensor and instrument integrity. The reading system is fully contained in a rugged aluminum housing. Power is provided by a set of rechargeable batteries. Battery and charger,operable on 110V or 220V AC,included in case. Detachable power cord for charging. Depending on the sensor bridge resistance,battery power provides 10-2013 15 hours of continuous use. The ratio measurement system prevents battery degradation from degrading system accuracy. When the battery voltage level drops to a preset value,a visible indicator light signals the need for recharging.
