PCE Instruments PM1208M Radiation Detector

The radiation detector PM1208M combines a Geiger counter for gamma rays with the design and functionality of a modern wristwatch and is designed to continuously monitor ambient radiation levels. The degree of radiation is shown on the radiation detector's display as dose equivalent and dose equivalent rate. If an adjusted threshold level is exceeded,the radiation detector emits an acoustic signal. The high-quality quartz movement ensures the high reliability and precision of the clock. Other common functions of electronic watches are also displayed on the LCD display (e.g. calendar,alarm clock...). The radiation detector's memory can store up to 500 measured values,which can also be transferred to a PC via an infrared connection.
