PROCAPI 3-A and II 3-A meet stringent material and design standards for USDA,FDA and 3-A sanitary food and dairy processing. They can be used for high and low level detection in bins,silos,tanks,hoppers,chutes and other containers where food or dairy products are stored or manufactured. They operate by detecting the presence or absence of material in contact with the probe,sensing small changes in capacitance (as low as 0.5 pF) caused by differences in the dielectric constants of the material and air. They have a Class II hazardous location rating and come with a wide variety of probes and extensions to meet various processing needs.
