Pyromation R1T185L(156)83 Series Temperature Sensor

The miniature CIP sanitary RTD temperature sensor comes with a 16 amp sanitary cap to accommodate 1/2 and 3/4 pipe size sanitary fixtures. They are used in pharmaceutical,chemical,biotechnology,R&D laboratories and food processing applications. The sanitary cap is welded to the sheath and a heavier support tube,all constructed of 316 stainless steel,then ground and polished to a No. 4 minimum finish that exceeds the requirements of 3-a Sanitary Standard 74-. Component surface finish meets or exceeds 15µin Ra. Process contact surfaces are free of pits,cracks and pits,preventing corrosion and bacterial growth. All wires are insulated with Teflon to further provide moisture and chemical resistance. The listed sheathing lengths ensure the sensing element is properly positioned in the flowing when used with typical sanitary tees and fittings,and the small sheathing diameter provides fast temperature response times.
