Introduction

MEMS capacitive technology

The key component of the capacitive acceleration sensor is a high-quality microelectromechanical system (MEMS) with good long-term stability and reliability. This proven technology can be used to measure static (DC) and constant as well as dynamic (AC) acceleration. Other advantages of accelerometers based on the capacitive operating principle include excellent temperature stability, good response properties and achievable resolution.

Description

Low noise (LN) accelerometers have excellent noise performance in the range of 7-400 μg/√Hz, which is the most basic minimum frequency and amplitude measurement requirement. Integrated electronics help ensure differential analog voltage output (±4 V FSO) and flexible supply voltage (6-40 VDC).

The sensors of this series have a robust and reliable stainless steel housing (V2A material number 1.4301) resulting in a seal with protection class IP68.

Application

Triaxial accelerometers detect minimum acceleration over a wide frequency response range in three degrees of freedom, such as for test bench applications, vehicle and road monitoring, and resonance and flutter testing in aviation.


Cables and cable glands

Cable glands VariaPro Rail are tested according to the fire protection standards DIN EN 45545-2 and 45545-3.

In addition, the railway-certified integrated cable RADOX TENUIS-TW 600V MM S meets the technical requirements of EN (with good low temperature resistance and oil resistance).
